This blog will chronicle my goal of running 30 races by the time I’m 30.   This may sound like a far-away goal for someone who is just starting to run, but I like to have goals to keep me focused, and I hope that this keeps me “on track” for the “long run” as I begin this healthy new habit.

I began racing when I was 25.  I’m currently 27 years old, with 11 races down, 19 to go.

  1. i love the 30 races idea! that is awesome- cant wait to read about your adventures and progress!

  2. wow I have to say I’m impressed! I love running too, consider myself a runner foremost and do other things for fun (spinning and some classes here and there) or for some extra body definition (strength training). But NOTHING beats outside running, treadmill running can hardly be called exercise in my opinion haha. It’s just a tedious way to burn calories and zooming out, while running outside envigorates you and makes you conscious of your surroundings, and in turn, more appreciative.

    happy running!

  3. What a cool goal! I had no forethought to think of a goal like this before I turned 30 (last summer) – it will be such an accomplishment when you get there!

  4. Cute blog! I love the concept.
